This is my new project, knitted in hope.
After knitting for about 2 years, and noticing a lot of cancer around me, I've decided to put my talent to work by knitting hats for cancer patients. As many people know, those undergoing cancer treatment often lose their hair, or just plain like to wear hats. I want to show them that people care, and hope for them. I'm asking your help. I want to knit and distribute 100 hats to cancer patients by 2014. On this blog, there are a list of patterns, but I encourage you to use a different one, or make up your own and add it to the list! Leave a comment with your email address, to add a pattern, or if you would like to start knitting hats, or even donate supplies for me to distribute to my knitters. If you have knit a hat, take a picture, and find a cancer patient. I'll add it to the tally.
